Importance of vaccination:
From birth, many various viruses, bacteria, and other microbes are exposed to us constantly. Many are not harmful, but some can cause illness.
The immune system of the body helps protect us from infections. The immune system triggers a range of responses when exposed to a condition that neutralizes the microorganisms and restricts their damaging effects. Infectious disease exposure often provides lifetime protection (immunity), so the same disease is not retrieved. The microbe “reminds” our immune system.
Simple and Effective Protection:
When we have a disease, we often develop lifelong immunity. Some illnesses can, however, lead to severe complications and death sometimes. This immunity is aimed at the vaccination without any risk of the disease.
We activate the “memory” of the immune system when we vaccinate. A weakened microbe, a fragment, or something similar is added to your body during vaccination. Without getting sick, the immune system is then activated. Certain dangerous infectious diseases can quickly and effectively be prevented. Vaccination offers lifelong protection for some illnesses, but the Effect for others decreases after several years, and booster doses become necessary.
Precautions After vaccine:
– Stay in the immunization center for 15-30 minutes after the vaccination. You will receive close monitoring from health workers. Report if you feel dizzy or if you experience any allergic reactions, vomiting, or nausea.
