1. Bond With Kuina

Zoro Grew up in a village where he was learning swordsmanship, and his teacher’s daughter was better than him in every aspect of swordsmanship, which made Zoro mad. He trained harder every day to beat Kuina but never succeeded. One day after a disagreement with his father, Kuina beats Zoro and says that she is not going to become a strong swordsman because she is a woman and there are limits to a woman’s strength which makes a woman weaker.

After hearing all this, zoro starts yelling at Kuina and says don’t disrespect yourself by saying those words. You are my rival, and I don’t want my rival to insult his strengths by uttering nonsense words.

After giving Kuina a sense of how important it is to have self-respect for a swordsman of his strength, zoro made her take the oath with him to become the world’s greatest swordsman and train harder to become stronger to achieve the goal of becoming the greatest swordsman in the world.

3. Losing Kuina:

After swearing the oath with Kuina the next day, zoro finds out that kuina died by falling from the staircase which makes his heart boil and makes him emotional and aggressive toward his goal by witnessing his great friend’s dead body in front of his eyes. After Kuina’s death, Zoro asks for her sword, wado Ichimonji, from his father, and her father agrees to give that sword to Zoro.

After witnessing this unfortunate event, zoro wants to become the world’s greatest swordsman by training hard and fulfilling his promise to Kuina that one of them will become the world’s greatest swordsman.
